The European Conference on Academic Integrity and Plagiarism 2021 saw a presentation from Thomas Lancaster and Imperial College London undergraduate student Rahul Gupta.

The presentation looked at how Reddit is being used for the provision of contract cheating and homework help services, an area of demand that seems to be growing during Covid-19.

Academic Ghost Writing and Contract Cheating Provision Observed on a Freelancing Website

Here are the slides for a presentation delivered at the European Conference on Academic Integrity and Plagiarism 2021, by Thomas Lancaster and Benjamin Dent. This shows the results of a research collaboration with a staff member and an Imperial College London undergraduate student partner.

The presentation looks at the use of Freelancer.com for academic writing requests, showing that this area is in demand with many successful businesses operating providing contract cheating services for students.
